| Why raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats? They are so personable .... come in all colors and color patterns .... produce enough milk for a small family without an overabundance .... take less feed and space per animal than standard breeds .... are small enough for children to control and manage .... are good projects for children in 4-H and FFA .... can clean out areas overgrown with brambles and brush .... are fun to show |

| We live in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains at the edge of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The pictures you see as our header background are taken on the Little North Fork of the Santiam River. We live only yards away from it on a rather small acreage that limits the numbers in our herd. While it's not ideal for our goats, we feel blessed to be able to live in such a beautiful area and love to share it. So, like the animals, the background pictures will change from time to time. Please enjoy. |
